The Member experience, as defined by Kaiser, is the primary focus at their 1000+ facilities. It is no surprise that ensuring their Members are connected via their mobile devices whenever they step foot on one of their facilities is a primary focus.
With new patient notification systems, Kaiser needed to ensure their members received text messages when on the Moanalua property. Additionally, staff, operations, and maintenance groups all needed their disparate wireless devices connected. In the end, Pando Telecom designed, deployed, and commissioned a DAS wireless that supported Cellular, Public Safety, 2-way radios, and clock synchronization. Services backed within a single infrastructure were highly valuable since they had been previously supported by parallel infrastructures.
